Hello Everyone,

As I'm sure alot of users are aware... There are alot of people who love to start things in the lobby. Since there is no system in place for ignoring or blocking users... I feel that we should petition for a job opening for Moderators. The growing community has lead to more problems as well, with only 2 admins to keep an eye on things once in a while just usn't enough. The lobby has become a terrorist zone for flamers and spaming. Guests are half the problem as well as some users. I will not post any names but I'm willing to bet that plenty of people will agree with me including Nutty, Knight, Sexxy, Nightmare, Jayman, and others. In my oppinion I've seen how certain people are during these situations and I believe these to be good line up canidates. Knight, Longy, Nutty, and derek. Although I'd say I'm a good canidate as well I'm listing people other than me for other possible choices. I'm not saying that we should just be moderators right away, but that the admins would let us apply; test us on our ability to handle situations, in order to improve the envoirnment currently present on a day to day basis in the lobby.

I agree and support this idea. I am not sure if they are planning this or not because I remember in one suggestion that I posted, Malc responded saying the 'Moderator Powers' are not fully working. Well there is a lot spamming, flaming, racism, and profanity on the chat, so yes, there is a need for Moderators.

I'm glad you agree Knight. I figured you would, seeing how these problems are growing fast with more people playing. Lets hope that there will be a change to all this soon. I can't wait to hear from other, so anyone else reading this please reply with your oppinions too.

Hi guys - just to let you know we have read this and are working on fixing these up so they can be assigned to a few users. It will be a few days yet though as both Barrax and I are unfortunately on very tight work deadlines...

We both need to sit down and discuss what rights admins will have, who will be an administrator - how do we regulate it (abuse of power is as much a problem as people being twats) and then we need to implement it all ;-)

I'll see what I can do over the weekend for you.

Thanks Malx, your a great guy. I'm glad you're very open to any suggestions that users have. Sadly most games I've played on the Admins just don't care. I guess that's what makes me come back to this one, plus it's a really good game. Thanks for everything.

i believe malc x and barrax that me and jag64 (considering the circumstances that were on 24/7) should be secondary moderators for this game. peeople and their ignorance make me mad and i hate to see this game go to waste with dumb ppl like ghostwomen and luckeeseven

Mod functions still coming soon - as a first step though I've written and installed a language filter that is turned on by default - please see the news article below the game...

Gratz, an optional language filter is a nice add! Can't wait for Mod functions, don't stress too much though. Scripting can give nasty migranes...

How has everyone found the lang filter so far? are there any words slipping through you've noticed? Or as I suspect have you all just turned it off? :-)

I like the filter so far. But some 1337 words go through such as: @$$. Keep up the great updates! ;-)

Yeah some stuff does apear, but nothing big or noticably significant. Also how are the Mod functions coming along? And Knight, you used StopAndStare again. =P

the filter does work good, but it also blocks some odd words, but it is working nicely.and to nuttyboy's post. i apologize for my behavior. and i know what he is talking about. it really made me look horrible, and it wont happen again.

Alright 2good4yo, I'm acknowlegding your existance. =) welcome to Ultra Killz. I could care less what race you are, as long as you are a mature being. A good way to stay on my good side... talking with me, and not starting any fights over nonsense. xD It's already bad enough with the nonsense that goes on in the lobby. I hope Malcx and Barrax will find some time soon to get the Moderator functions working. In the mean time, have fun and enjoy the game!
